The Shire of Kellerberrin wishes to congratulate Rod Forsyth for winning the Eminent Service Award through Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA). The Eminent Service Award recognises eminent service and distinguished contributions to WALGA and Local Government.

Rod’s recognition comes from his outstanding service and commitment to the Kellerberrin community and Wheatbelt. During his service to the community Rod served as a councillor from October 2009 until August 2023, Shire President from 2013 to 2021. Not only had Rod been a councillor for 14 years he has worn many hats to help Kellerberrin grow and improve, serving on no less than 10 committees.

Kellerberrin is beyond lucky to have such a dedicated member of this community, this award was well and truly deserved.
